Holmes & Yang Launched on Beverly Hill

We never post information about Katie because this is a "Suri Blog", just sometimes, one or another interview where Katie talks about Suri. But this time, this information is relevant because some of the Suri´s dresses appear in the pictures.

Katie Holmes and design partner Jeanne Yang are all smiles at the preview event for their Holmes & Yang Fall 2011 collection at Barneys New York on Saturday (March 19) in Beverly Hills, Calif. Her step-son Connor rocked a Lacoste top, danced at the DJ booth, and spun a few of his own beats. Even Victoria Beckham’s oldest son Brooklyn stopped by to show support for Katie. Earlier in the evening, Katie also recently revealed her tips for making a home on the road.

K:“Bring lots of crayons, glue, good paper and you can turn any room into a very warm, familial place,” she told WWD. “My mom grew up making curtains and pillows and everything, and it made our home very warm, so I like to do things like that with my daughter. My husband got me a sewing machine for my birthday.”

The most adorable of launched is that the twins daughters of Jeanne Yang attended to the event wearing one of the dress created for Holmes & Yang KIDS. The same dress that Suri has used on several occasions, the Silk Navy Dress with embroidered White Birds.

Jeanne´s daughters combined the dress with the beautiful (left girl) Juicy Couture Girls' "Lanice" Kitten Heel (still available only in black) and (right girl) with a "funky" black leggings and Classic Boot in black by UGG.

"Wicked" Broadway Date.

Katie Holmes treated daughter Suri Cruise to an even of Broadway as they pair checked out "Wicked The Musical" (for 2nd time, Suri saw this musical last year) in New York City this evening (March 16). Following the show, the mother daughter duo avoided conversation with the paparazzi, but little Suri said more than words with her many facial expressions.

This morning, Suri was spotted leaving her apartment in NYC with her nanny and bodyguard. The beautiful Suri, with a very tidy hair, carrying a bag full of kids jewels, one pen and note pad.

Nanny time while mommy works

Katie Holmes sported her Max Mara camel coatafter wearing leather to make an appearance at Barneys with her Holmes & Yang design partner, Jeanne Yang, earlier today. The duo debuted their latest collection while Suri was off exploring the city with a nanny. Katie's had a busy few weeks in the Big Apple taking in Broadway shows anddodging the rain with Suri, though she's also had time to star in a mysterious video involving handbag line Valextra.

After spend the night with her friends, Katie meet with Suri and both enjoyed some late night sweets at their favourite "SERENDIPITY" in Manhattan's Upper East. "There was a lot of ice cream," a source says of the visit, which found the mother-daughter duo dropping in with friends right before the restaurant closed at midnight. "Suri definitely loves ice cream, and she usually orders a hot fudge sundae."

According to the source, the group had to wait briefly for a table. Once they ordered, they sampled a variety of different sundaes, including a banana split, a butterscotch sundae, as well as a bunch of frozen hot chocolates – one of the place's signature dishes.

Katie & Suri: Rain Day in NY

Katies carried a raincoat-wearing Suri around NYC yesterday. The girls tried to take advantage of their Big Apple location despite the inclement weather, which didn't get in the way of their seeing a Broadway show on tuesday (march 10). Katie followed up their night of theater with a day of meetings in her favorite Max Mara coat, but she and Suri were out on the town again wednesday finishing up their afternoon with sweets at Serendipity 3.
